9-2-08--We played at Chatea Elan on Sunday to wrap up their Summer Concert series. It was sold out and was a great night. Former medallion, Richard Loper joined us and is sounding better than ever on his trumpet. We are headed down to Destin FL tomorrow for a a private show and then head up to Monroe GA on Friday. Check the 2008 Tour Date page for details. Remember to call noe to get your table for the September 12th show at the Civic Center in Greenwood SC. All the details are on the dates page.

8-19-08--The above photo circa (1966) was sent to us by DJ Dave "Rockin" Roddy from WSGN, Birmingham. His playing of "Double Shot" back in 66’ helped turn it into a hit! The photo is of the groups' very first “Medallion Monday” in Birmingham at the Hollywood Country Club. If you were lucky enough to attend one of these shows, you know how famous they would become. Dave says, “We had a good idea that this first Medallion Monday in Birmingham would be ground-breaking but we didn't know how big, for sure!”

Check out this interview of John McElrath, it was done by ALEX VERHOEFF who resides in Europe and writes for twangville.com.

Visit Myxer.com and search for "Double Shot" to download it as your ringtone and have it sent directly to your cell phone...free of charge.
